Just like every single year, the popular weekly – Kantipur Saptahik, has recently published the names of ten of the most attractive Nepalese women of the year 2072. So, without further ado, here’s the list.

#1. Priyanka Karki

One of the busiest leading ladies of the Nepalese film industry, Priyanka Karki has made it to the top this year. The actress who was seen in the leading roles in films such as Mala, Sadanga, Wada No.6 and Fanko this year, will be seen in some anticipated new projects like How Funny, Nai Na Bhannu La 4 and Laltin in the upcoming year. Apart from movies, she equally remains busy in music videos and her shows around the world. Even at the moment, she is in Dubai for a show.

#2. Himani Shah

The former crown princess of Nepal, Himani Shah has surprised many people to secure the second spot on the list this year. Married to former crown prince, Parash Shah, the mother of three is one of the most beloved and respected member of the former royal family, mostly because of her involvement with various social causes. The chairman of her charity, Himani Trust, her works for the society and people have always been commendable.

#3. Namrata Shrestha

On third spot of the list is actress, producer, singer and entrepreneur – Namrata Shrestha. After debuting with Sano Sansar in 2008, she has been able to make her mark in the Nepalese film industry. Apart from her recently released film ‘Classic’ which is successfully running in cinemas all over the nation, she only worked in ‘Mala’, a film produced under her own production house this year.

#4. Indira Joshi

Indira Joshi, who is on the fourth spot this year, is probably the busiest Nepalese female singer presently. After the huge success of her song ‘Udhreko Choli’ from Loot, the Nepalese ‘Shakira’ has never looked back. The ‘Rato Ghanghara’ singer who has travelled to more than a dozen countries around the world for her shows, has also collaborated with some international artists such as Sean Kingston, Iraj, Kraizer and Neo for some of her songs.

#5. Shristi Shrestha

Miss Nepal 2012, Shristi Shrestha, is on the fifth spot on the list this year. The supermodel is all set to enter the Nepalese film industry with ‘Gajalu’ this year. She will be seen opposite Anmol KC. She was one of the Top 20 contestants in the Miss World 2012 pageant.

#6. Akesha Bista

On sixth spot of the list is model, VJ and actress – Akesha Bista. The ‘Call Kantipur’ host who had debuted with Zindagi Rocks last year, is one of the most popular faces of the Nepalese pop music videos presently. She had won the titles of Miss Talent and Miss Photogenic in the Miss Nepal 2012 pageant.

#7. Barsha Siwakoti

Actress Barsha Siwakoti who had debuted with Nai Na Bhannu La 3 is on the seventh spot this year. Her work was well appreciated in the recently released ‘Pashupati Prasad’ which is still running in cinemas. The model turned actress has also worked in various music videos.

#8. Niti Shah

Securing the eighth spot, Niti Shah is the youngest achiever on the list. One of the most popular Nepalese models, she has so far graced the covers of various fashion and lifestyle magazines. The journalism student at St. Xavier’s College who started modelling at the age of 16 is the favorite ramp model of many renowned fashion designers in K-Town.

#9. Reecha Sharma

One of the most versatile actresses in the Nepalese film industry, Reecha Sharma is on the ninth spot of the list. The model turned actress who debuted with First Love in 2010 had won the National Award for her role in ‘Talakjung Vs Tulke’, the film which was Nepal’s official entry into the Oscars 2016. Two of her much awaited films, ‘Ko Afno’ and ‘Junge’, are to hit the theaters soon.

#10. Mala Limbu

In last but not least, popular model and actress Mala Limbu is on the tenth spot of the list this year. The actress who was initially supposed to debut with ‘Goodbye Kathmandu’ had officially debuted with ‘One Way’ last year as her earlier film couldn’t release for some reasons. The successful model has so far worked in number of music videos and has become the cover girl of various magazines.

Apart from these ten ladies, the others who were very close but couldn’t make it to the list of ten were international award winner banker Raveena Desraj Shrestha, volleyball player and actress Sipora Gurung, actress Karishma Manandhar, make-up artist Sneh Rana and actresses Nisha Adhikari and Keki Adhikari.
