We have a lot of extremely talented rock bands in Nepal and we are proud of all of them. And every single time a promising new band comes into the scene, we are filled with energy and excitement. Jhapa doesn’t have a lot to boast about when it comes to rock music so far but this new band will definitely bring the district into the map. Chappal, a post rock band formed in 2012 consists of Hillihang Limbu on guitar, Susan Limbu on drums, Anup Dahal on bass, Roman Sewa on guitar and Nehal Sherpa on vocals. When asked about why the band was named ‘Chappal’, “We wanted to stand out from the crowd, in terms of music and in terms of the band’s name as well and so we went with this kind of unique name”, Hillihang told NeoStuffs.

The post rock/math rock band recently released two of their original singles. Both the songs are instrumentals, without any vocals. The band does plan to come up with new singles with vocals as well. Listen to their songs below and do not forget to comment what you think of them.
