Thanks to the most popular Nepali song lately ‘Jaalma’, ‘Resham Filili’ has become one of the most anticipated upcoming films.

The lyrical video of the fun-filled romantic song arranged by Almoda Rana Upreti; written by Manas Raj and Kali Prasad Baskota; composed by Kali Prasad Devkota and performed by himself along with Somea Baraili; was released on youtube on January 16th. In this one week, the song has got more than 1,75,000 views; various cover songs; remixes and fan-made videos. With so much stuffs going around, it is obvious that the audience are now very much interested in the movie as well.

The writer and singer, Kali Prasad Devkota, is amazed to see the popularity of his song. He expressed his happiness saying, “The response from the people has been amazing. We haven’t released the official video yet but still the amount of love we have been recieving is beyond expectations.”

The director Pranab Joshi and the lead actor Vinay Shrestha too are astonished with the audience’s response. “I have to say Kali along with Almoda created a masterpiece. We loved the song when we heard it for the first time. The music and style blends perfectly with our movie. I am very happy that everyone loved our song”, said Pranab. Vinay stated, “I am more than overwhelmed with the kind of response I have been getting so far.”

The comedy film produced by Madhav Wagle under the banner of V Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. is written and directed by Pranab Joshi. The film starring Vinay Shrestha, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Menuka Pradhan, Shisheer Bangdel, Karma, Arun Regmi and Ashutosh Shrestha will hit the theaters on April 24th this year.
