A lot of new-comers are entering the Nepali film industry these days and many of them have shown their potential and have proved that they are here to stay. And then there are some new actors whose movies are yet to be released but they already are creating some buzz in K-Town. One of them is Bikram Malla Thakuri who will be soon debuting with ‘Destination Kathmandu’, a film produced by Sharad Adhikari and directed by Deepak Raymajhi. The film will be released later this year in 2014.

We still have to see his acting skills but the reason he is making the buzz for now is because of his physique. He is probably the most muscular man in Kollywood so far. He has been seen in various music videos, work-out videos and short films so far. Sharing his experience of working in the first film, he told NeoStuffs, “This is my first ever experience of working in a movie and that too in a lead role. I was nervous at first but as the entire crew was very supportive, I was able to give my best. We all have given our 100% and it’s up to the audience now if they like what we have done or not. No matter if we succeed or not, working on anything ends up in teaching you something. I am hopeful that the film works.”

Malla was born in Nawalparasi, grew up in Kathmandu and later moved to Sydney for further studies. He started modelling and photography there. Photographer Kewal Rai supported him with learning photography at first. His favorite actors are Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Tony Jaa, Van Damme and Salman Khan.
