Yama Buddha’s ‘Yo Prasanga’ Reveals The Ugly Truth of Human Trafficking in Nepal

Yama Buddha is one of the most loved singers of Nepal. He very neatly and finely showcases the human sentiments through hip-hop music. He has won millions of hearts with his songs like ‘Sathi’, ‘Aama’ ‘Didi’ and many more. He has now come up with his latest music video ‘Yo Prasanga’ which reveals the ugly truth of human traficking, more specificaly sex trafficking in Nepal. The video, which features Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi and actor Resh Marhattha, also shows some shocking facts and figures about the racket.

Talking with NeoStuffs, Yama Buddha said, “The song is close to me as I have spent some time with real trafficked victims and heard their story. It is heart wrenching to imagine these girls getting raped by 50 men everyday and are as young as 7. The video took us about 13 months to complete. We shot on August 2013 and I am glad it has finally come out. I hope everyone spread the message and awareness. You can also help fund a documentary film on it by going to this crowd funding site:
