It’s the “Happy” season, everyone!

Seems like the trend of making cover videos for Pharell Williams’ Happy is never ending. More than 1500 cover videos have been made from all around the world and the latest to join the list is from Nepal with the title – “Pharell Williams – Happy We Are Celebrities from Nepal” featuring actors, singers, film makers, designers and so on. The video made by Yak Entertainment also contains a teaser of a new Nepali film titled ‘Zhigrana’.

The video stars various personalities from all fields of the entertainment industry. It has singers Robin Tamang, Adrian Pradhan, Ani Choying Drolma, Indira Joshi along with actors Priyanka Karki, Anup Baral, Deeya Maskey, Menuka Pradhan, Nikun Shrestha and Shivangini Rana. Also starring are Miss Nepal queens Malvika Subba and Sadichha Shrestha, accompanied by VJs Akesha Bista, Raymon Das Shrestha, Sanjay Gupta and Smriti Vaidya. ‘Loot’ director Nischal Basnet also makes an appearance, and so does another filmmaker Nilu Doma Sherpa.

Earlier this year in May, Creato had made the first Nepali cover for the song called “Happy Kathmandu”. A version from Pokhara too is to be released soon.
