Kiran x Ranzen x Balen Bring You The Collab You Need

A powerful beat plays and a good MC comes on to deliver one verse; just one verse and that’s all it takes — and it becomes your new favorite song.

The latest Tuborg Open Session brings together three artists to make one great track. The iconic sarangi player from ‘Kutumba’ and ‘Bipul Chettri and the Travelling Band’, Kiran Nepali, along with electronic music producer Ranzen Jha create the perfect beat for Balen to drop bars.

Bhagwan mannma biraajmaan, mandirma dhungaa“, the very first line tells you straight up what’s about to come. ” It [the track] carries the blend of new age philosophy on Dharma and Karma. The music and lyrics of the song are symbolic to the point that God lies in the hearts of all human beings. EDM represents the youth and Sarangi represents the start of music in Nepal. The two have been balanced by a rap verse”, says the rapper.

“People are forgetting that the real way to make holy offerings to God, is by giving others happiness. It is not the offering of garlands, the sacrifice of life or any other materialistic objects.”

Titled ‘Aastik’, the track mixed by Ranzen is mastered by Rohit Shakya. The video shot by Nayan Rai, Breezendra Bhattarai, Prashanna Bajracharya, Diwas Paudel, Sashwot Pradhan and Javed Khan is edited by Anup Sapkota.
