This Short Film is a Reminder to Never Take Your Mother For Granted

“When was the last time you said ‘I Love You’ to your mother?”, asks a new short film released on the occasion of Matatirtha Aunshi, Mother’s Day in Nepal.

A work of Abhiyanta, the 8-minute film titled ‘Unsaid Words’ written by Ajesna Shakya is shot by Nischal Manandhar and directed by Harish Chhetri. The film revolves around a guy who has learned the value of his mother only after losing her. All his life, he took his mother for granted and now that she’s gone, he’s lost without her.

Watch it here.

You might have never thought about it but you’re a lucky person if you have your mother. As you’re growing up, she is growing old. She is not going to be around forever. Spend time with her, take her to places, take her pictures and treat her the way she deserves.

A stranger doesn’t need to tell you how to treat your mother. You know it better, don’t you?
