If you haven’t got anything great to do on the first day of the Nepali new year; may be you could go for a movie marathon as quite a number of recent Nepali films have been released online.
Parva
While ‘Parva’ couldn’t actually do any wonders at the cinemas, a soundtrack from the film called ‘Kale Dai’, however, had become extremely popular on the internet. Starring Namrata Shrestha and Koshish Chhetri in the lead roles; the film had released on May 26th last year. Produced by Subash Giri and Nikita Poudel, the thriller is directed by ‘Classic’ fame Dinesh Raut.

Karkhana
‘Karkhana’ stars Sushil Shrestha and Barsha Siwakoti in the leading roles. The film produced by Sudip Khadka and Amar Bajracharya is written and directed by Amardeep Sapkota. It was released on June 30th last year.

Purano Dunga
Released in theaters on November 25, 2016; ‘Purano Dunga’ has now been released online. The film directed by Ram Babu Gurung stars Dayahang Rai, Maotse Gurung, Priyanka Karki, Menuka Pradhan and Buddi Tamang, among others.

Rani
‘Rani’ introduced two new actors – Saruk Tamrakar and Manish Sundar Shrestha. The film, that also stars Malina Joshi and Anoop Bikram Shahi, is directed by Dayaram Dahal. It was released on October 19th last year.
