Priyanka Karki has been teasing fans with various Instagram Story pictures from the sets of Boogie Woogie for last few days. The ‘Chhakka Panja’ actress, who is one of the three judges on the new dancing reality show, is busy shooting for the episodes with her co-judges Dilip Rayamajhi and Kabiraj Gahatraj.

While the dance reality television franchise was announced in August last year, no details about the show’s airing were revealed UNTIL TODAY. With a new promo for the show, AP1 announced the premiere date earlier today on Facebook.

The first episode of the very first season of Boogie Woogie will premiere on Thursday, March 29th (Chaitra 15th) at 8 PM on AP1 TV.

So, what we know from the promo is that there are going to be top 18 contestants who will be competing to be the first ever winner of Boogie Woogie (Nepal). Originally created and directed by Naved Jaffrey and Ravi Behl in India, the show had first debuted in 1996 on Sony Entertainment Television.

This is the second international franchise television show (after Nepal Idol), AP1 has brought in Nepal. The network is also working on other two new shows – Ko Banchha Crorepati and Nepal’s Got Talent, along with the second season of Nepal Idol.

Exciting times ahead for Nepali television.
