Dhruba Budhathoki Is Manhunt International Nepal 2017


DEC 29, KATHMANDU: Dhruba Budhathoki has won the title of Manhunt International Nepal 2017. The 23-year-old was announced the winner during the grand finale held at Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu on Friday evening. Prakash Shah and Sajid Alam won the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.

Along with the main title, Budhathoki won himself Mr. Talent and Mr. Physique sub-titles as well. In June this year, he had bagged the first runner-up position in the Mr. Nepal pageant and represented Nepal in Man of the Year competition held in Indonesia in August. He will now be representing Nepal at Manhunt International next year. He stands 5’11”.

The contestants were also awarded with eight different sub-titles. Sudip Pathak won Mr. Popular and Mr. Personality, Sudip Osti won Mr. Friendship, Saroj Shrestha won Mr. Photogenic Smile and Prakash Shah won the sub-title of Most Stylish.

The auditions for the pageant were held at International Club, Sanepa on November 25th. A total of 16 contestants were selected to compete for the prestigious title. The event hosted by Sanjay Gupta and Samriddhi Rai was aired live on Kantipur HD.
