Miss Grand International 2017 Finale Tonight, Zeenus Lama Represents Nepal

The coronation night of Miss Grand International will be taking place tonight (October 25th) in Vietnam.

The 3-week long competition concludes tonight when the reigning Miss Grand International Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia will crown her successor during the finale.

Zeenus Lama is Nepal’s bet in the pageant this year. The 25-year-old Journalism and Mass Communication student was crowned Miss Grand International 2016 and was supposed to represent Nepal in Las Vegas. But she couldn’t participate in the competition last year for some reasons and hence, she was invited to be a part this year. Originally from Chitwan, Lama has been residing in Kathmandu.

The fifth edition of the pageant kicked off on October 5th. 77 representatives are competing for the coveted title this year. Various events and competitions such as national costume competition, swimsuit competition and preliminary competition have so far been held in Ho Chi Minh, Quang Binh and Phu Quoc. Tonight’s final show will be taking place in Phu Quoc from 8 PM (6:45 PM in Nepal) and the event will be aired live on MGI’s official Facebook handle.

Go, Zeenus, Go!
