Earlier this year in August, AP1 TV announced that it will be bringing dance reality television franchise, Boogie Woogie, to Nepal.

While the showrunners haven’t given out any other details regarding the auditions, hosts or judges yet; we have found out who they have roped in as the judges, through our sources.

The show will have three judges and we’re ‘almost’ sure who they are. Dilip Rayamajhi, the much loved actor who is equally loved for his dance, will be one of the judges. The ‘Darpan Chhaya’ actor will have the company of Priyanka Karki, one of the most popular Nepali actresses of today who also happens to be a wonderful dancer. Joining the panel is the ace choreographer Kabiraj Gahatraj.

Boogie Woogie, the dance competition television series, was originally created in India by Naved Jaffrey and Ravi Behl. The show, that first debuted on Sony Entertainment TV in 1996, has actor and dancer Javed Jaffrey as its permanent judge. It has completed seven seasons in India so far.

Comedy has always been an important part of Boogie Woogie as all three of its original creators – Ravi, Javed and Naved – are known to have great sense of humor. We will have to wait and see if AP1 TV will be able to recreate the magic and charm of the show or not. As the audition dates are not yet announced, we expect the show to air in 2018 only.
