Here’s Everything You Need To Know About The Season Finale Of Nepal Idol

The rumors that had been around since few days regarding the venue of the season finale of Nepal Idol were put to an end in the last week’s Friday night episode as the hosts officially confirmed that it will be taking place in Qatar.

Two important announcements were made during the latest episode of Nepal Idol that aired on Friday last week on AP1 TV. For the very first time, we saw the director of the show – Laxman Poudyal – on the stage as he was there to announce something important. We all knew what the winner of the show will be getting, even before it started — a cash prize of Rs. 2 million, a Mahindra KUV 100 car, and a record deal. And now, as announced, even the first and second runners up will be walking away with pretty impressive cash prizes. Based on the number of votes received; the first runner up will be receiving Rs. 15 Lakh; while the second runner up will be awarded with Rs. 10 Lakh.

That was not the only announcement that was made; as the hosts Sushil Nepal and Reema Bishwakarma officially confirmed that the finale of the show will be taking place in Doha, Qatar. They also said that the event will be broadcasted live on AP1 TV. However, the exact date for the finale was not announced.

On the other hand, the promotions for the event have already started in Qatar and the promotional materials have been printed. We came across a poster of the event that has all the details regarding the finale.

The event will be taking place at Asian Town Amphitheater in Doha on September 22nd (6th of Ashwin). It is scheduled at 5 PM (local time), which is 7:45 PM in Nepal. Not only the three finalists, all the Top 12 contestants will be present at the event and most probably, they will also be performing. Apart from the Nepal Idol team; the list of special guests for the event includes dancer Teriya Magar, singer Hemanta Rana and actor Kedar Ghimire.

After Sujata Pandey got eliminated last week; there are now four contestants left — Buddha Lama, Nishan Bhattarai, Pratap Das and Sagar Ale — one of them will be eliminated this week; leaving behind the three finalists.

In around three weeks, we’ll have our first ever Nepal Idol. ho’s excited??
