Roselyn Shrestha is an aspiring singer who has lately been getting known for her cover songs that she releases on her YouTube channel. Her covers of ‘Timile Ta Hoina, ‘Ukali Chadhaula’ and ‘Saili’ are some of her most popular ones so far. The Bhaktapur girl recently got featured on M&S VMAG’s Ruslan Cover Factory and her performance of Aastha Tamang Maskey’s ‘Muskuraye’ is now streaming online.
‘Muskuraye’ is one of the eight songs from Aastha’s debut album ‘Sabai Thikai Huncha’. Some of the other hits from the album released in 2009 were ‘Gotta Be Love’, ‘Jhutho Satya’ and ‘Sabai Thikai Huncha’ among others. The song was written by Astha along with her mother Susan Maskey. Rohit Shakya had produced the music for the album.
