After the audition dates for Nepal Idol along with the prizes winner will receive were announced recently, there’s another international TV franchise that is making its way to Nepal as well. And it’s none other than one of the favorite reality shows of youths — Roadies.

You read that right, the franchise of VIACOM18’s show MTV Roadies is coming to Nepal as Himalaya Roadies. In a press meet organized on Sunday, Himalaya TV announced the audition dates, venues and also the prizes for the winner. The auditions are scheduled in Pokhara on March 1st, in Butwal on 4th, in Chitwan on 6th, in Dharan on 9th and finally in Kathmandu on March 13th and 14th.

The selected contestants from the auditions will ride across the nation on Bajaj Avenger motorbikes, performing various tasks and proceeding to next rounds. Rapper Aasis Rana aka Laure, actress Deeya Maskey and media personality Raymon Das Shrestha will be judging and mentoring the participants.

The winner of the show will be walking away with up to Rs. 2 million and a Bajaj Avenger motorbike. As per the original format of the show, the prize money is never fixed as the contestants have to literally earn it. They have to perform various money tasks during the show and the amount they earn from each of these tasks is added at the end which eventually becomes the prize money for the winner.

People above the age of 18 may take part in the auditions. Online forms for the auditions can be filled up from HERE.
