This NTV Reporter Who Interviewed #Tarkariwali Might Be The Next James Bond, Not Even Kidding!

Ever since Daniel Craig turned down a £68 million offer from MGM studio to return as Bond for two more films, the fans of the popular spy movie series have been speculating who the next Bond might be. And now, seems like we have quite a tough contender for the role from Nepal. Surprised? Don’t be. Let us explain.

tarkariwali

18-year-old student Kusum Shrestha’s life took an unexpected turn when she was photographed carrying and selling vegetables at a local market in Gorkha. Her photographs instantly went viral on social media as soon as the photographer Rupchandra Maharjan posted them online with the hashtag #tarkariwali, meaning ‘veggie seller’. She has so far made it to various interntaional online portals and has apparently also been offered a Nepali film. That’s not it, she was recently invited to NTV studio and got interviewed by this gentleman named Maha Prasad Lamichhane.

Well, he reminded us of another ‘legendary’ reporter whose last name rhymes with ‘Gamala’. Just look at this teenager’s reaction and it tells the entire story.

The interview was more like an interrogation and she was kind of being ‘attacked’ by not very wise questions. It’s like he is some kind of super cop or spy interrogating a convict. Take a look at this short clip from the interview and you will find out what we are talking about. Let us know if you think he can qualify to become the next 007.

Sigh!
