7 Reasons Nischal Basnet & Swastima Khadka Are A Match Made In Heaven

Nischal Basnet and Swastima Khadka have been unofficially given the titles of national dai (brother) and bhauju (sister-in-law). The ‘Loot’ director and ‘Hostel Returns’ actress are loved by many; but that doesn’t mean that nobody dislikes them. In fact, therer are a number of people who often call them a mismatched couple; mostly because of the differences in their complexions and a 14-year age difference between them.

Let people say what they want to say, we’re here to prove why Swastima Khadka and Nischal Basnet, ‘Swaschal’, are a match made in heaven.

1. Happily Married

It had come as quite a surprise when ‘Swaschal’ got engaged in December 14, 2015 as there weren’t many talks or even rumors of the two going around before. After a little over two months, the two tied the knot on February 17, 2016. They are a happily married couple and may they remain so until forever.

2. They’re Never Too Busy For Each Other

The two never fail to express how much they love each other. No matter how busy they are because of their ongoing projects, they always make time for each other and when we’re lucky, we get to witness their love on social media through their handles.

No matter how busy you are, always make time for your loved ones. #shootingStories

A couple that sings together, stays together. Right? Yes!

4. Mutual Respect

A picture of ‘Swaschal’ went viral last week (read the fully story HERE). The photograph from the premiere of ‘Jhumkee’ had Swastima sitting on a seat but Nischal was seen sitting on the stairs. Some people saw love and others left some nasty comments. Most probably, Nischal wouldn’t have written anything about it if it was not for Swastima as some people had some really bad things to say about her. And he could not let it go when his wife was not only criticized but even abused for no reason at all. And so, he spoke his heart out. Well, if that’s not love, what is?

5.  Freedom

So here I share the 1st look of my forthcoming movie #lovelovelove ??

We might get some men offended here but it’s the reality we are talking about when we say, many Nepalese women are not able to continue what they were doing or what they want to do after they get married. But that’s no the case with ‘Swaschal’. Nischal is busy working on his upcoming projects, ‘Loot 2’ being the biggest one and in the same way, Swastima too has recently finished shooting for her upcoming film ‘Love Love Love’. She has also been working on various music videos, just the way she was before the wedding. Family is important and so is career; and if you have a family that supports you and motivates you, you are blessed and so are these two.

6. Sense of Humor

One of the most important elements of any romantic relationship is ‘humor’. A couple must not be never too old or too boring to have a good laugh together – even if that means making fun of your partner. Nischal regularly pranks and keeps making fun of Swastima; and to avenge him, she recently collaborated with YouTuber Aayush Rimal to prank him. And well, they pulled it off pretty well.

7. Understanding

Priceless moments. Love birds learning to fly. ?

Film industry is a crazy place and acting or film-making is a crazy profession. You are away for shoots most of the time. You might have to be out until midnight or even till the morning. And you might have to be gone for weeks or sometimes even months. It’s a lot to understand if you’re from this industry but your partner is not. They will be confused, they will be angry and they will be sometimes frustrated with your profession. ‘Swaschal’ are both in the same industry and they know what it takes to be here and that’s why, they can easily understand each other. And that’s a great thing!

If you’ve ever fallen in love, you know what it’s like. Love doesn’t care how you look, how old are you and what do you do. It just happens without asking you or without taking your permission. ‘Swaschal’ might have their differences but that’s not what matters. What matters the most is how you get along with your differences and accept each other the way they are.

Not a single couple is ‘mismatched’ because of their differences if they are happy together and they love each other.
