Sanjay Gupta is a big name in Nepali television and radio scene. The popular radio jockey, video jockey and emceee is now all set to hit the silver screen with his debut feature film titled ‘Safar’. The film produced by Keshav Khadka and Ashish Shrestha under the banner of Yuva Films is written by Keshav and directed by Ashish. The film that also stars ‘Raghav’ actor Shibir Pokharel along with Manan Sapkota and Nurja Shrestha has been completely shot in United States and tells the story of three friends who are set on a road trip from Dallas to San Fransisco.

Honestly speaking, 2012 film ‘Highway’ is the only Nepali film of ‘road movie’ genre we have loved so far. Well, we’re pretty hopeful with this one already and this is definitely on our ‘must watch’ list. A short teaser of the film has been recently released and it looks pretty good.
