Nepal’s First 360-Degree Music Video Is Here & It’s Freakin’ Awesome!

Let’s time travel and go a decade back to 2006: A popular VJ and music video director, Asif Shah, collaborates with the most loved HipHop crew ‘The Unity’ and releases his first single titled ‘Pahilo Maya’. As the title suggests, Asif talks about how he has fallen in love for the first time and how amazing it feels, while rappers Aidray and DA69 try to convince him how bad it can be to be in a relationship.

Come back to present: After 10 years, a solo acoustic version of the song has been released and it’s beautiful. A little different from the original version, the song is now completely a love song with soothing music. Sonam Pakhrin’s guitar and Ruben K. Shrestha’s flute absolutely sound magical. The song written, composed and performed by Asif Shah is arranged by Shailesh Shrestha. That’s not all yet, theĀ  most exciting thing about the song is its music video which is the first ever 360-degree music video released in Nepal. The one-shot video starring Sanjog Koirala and Swastima Khadka is shot and edited by Andy Taylor Smith and directed by Asim Shah.

We recommend you to watch it on your smartphone for a better experience. Just move your device to look around – like literally all around – making you feel like you’re yourself their in the video.
