If you don’t know who Mc Flo is, you are definitely not into Nepali HipHop music. If you think you’re into Nepali Hip Hop but don’t know who he is, you still aren’t into the real Hip Hop.

Nepalese Hip Hop scene, also known as NepHop, sees a number of dope emcees and the genre is expanding everyday with promising new artists coming into the scene with their sick songs. There are a good number of mainstream emcees who are trying their best to take this genre to a whole new level in Nepal and then there are some underground artists who might lack sufficient resources to produce and create music but they are equally contributing in the development of this genre. One such artist is Mc Flo, who is considered as the Underground King. With some of the best Nepali rap songs such as ‘Yaad Aaucha’, ‘Jivan Ko Baato’, ‘Don’t Play With My Heart’, ‘Maile Haasna Sikhe’ and more, the Kathmandu based emcee rules the hearts of thousands of Hip Hop lovers.

After years of being an underground rapper, Mc Flo has final gone mainstream. He has dropped his first ever music video. The song titled ‘Aawaz’ captures his own story – it’s about his struggles, dreams and achievements. Hype is the sound engineer of the song written by MC Flo himself. The music video shot by Sagar Gautam is directed and edited by Saksham Shrestha. We still have to see how going mainstream works out for him but one thing is for sure, he will keep on writing, singing and creating songs that most of the people can relate to.
