Paragliding Pre-World Cup In Pokhara: 150 Pilots From 35 Countries To Take Part


Pokhara is all set to host the Paragliding Pre-World Cup starting from February 27. The event organized by Nepal Air Sports Association (NASA), Pokhara, will have 150 paragliding pilots from 35 countries including Nepal to partake in the competition. The pilots will fly from Sarangkot and land on the shore of the Phewa Lake. The winners will also be receiving some exciting prizes. The competition which aims at promoting tourism through adventure sports is estimated to cost around Rs 5.68 million.

Among various other adventure sports such as zip-lining, bungee-jumping, stand-up paddling and more; paragliding is one of the most loved activities to experience in Pokhara. Have you ever done it in Pokhara or anywhere else? Do share your experience in the comment section below.
