Kantipur Saptahik recently published the names of the ten most attractive Nepalese men of the year 2072. The list includes models, actors, athletes and a fashion designer. Surprisingly, no singer has made it to the list this year. Here’s everyone who are on the list this year.

#1. Anmol KC

No wonder Anmol KC has topped the list of the most attractive men this year. The actor who had debuted with Hostel in 2013 enjoys a huge fan following which comprises of females mostly. Just 3 films old and he is apparently the highest paid actor in the Nepalese film industry. The ‘Jerryy’ actor will be seen in Dreams and Gajalu this year.

#2. Bimal Gharti Magar

The most popular Nepalese footballer presently, Bimal Gharti Magar has secured second spot on the list. The 18-year-old forward came to spotlight during a game against Pakistan at the SAFF Championship 2013 in which he scored a goal in injury time to earn Nepal a 1-1 draw.

#3. Dayahang Rai

Undoubtedly the most loved actor presently, Dayahang Rai is on the third spot. The versatile movie star who is also a veteran theater actor and playwright has won the prestigious National Award twice. He is one of those few actors who doesn’t only have a huge fan following but whose work is also appreciated by the critics. The ‘Kabaddi’ actor recently made a comeback to the theatre with a play titled ‘Ra Mailo’ and was well appreciated. His upcoming film ‘Taandro’ is soon to hit the theaters.

#4. Paras Khadka

‘Captain Cool’ Paras Khadka, the skipper of national cricket team, is on the fourth spot this year. Nepal cricket has achieved quite a lot under his captaincy so far, such as, won the 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division Five in Nepal, 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division Four in Malaysia, 2012 ACC Trophy Elite in UAE, 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three in Bermuda, 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three in Malaysia, participated in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh and gained the Twenty20 International status. The 28-year-old cricketer also remains equally busy in various social causes.

#5. Saugat Malla

Saugat Malla is one of the most versatile actors we have in the Nepalese film industry and he has secured the fifth spot on the list this year. His character of Haku Kale in 2012 blockbuster ‘Loot’ is considered one of his finest roles in his career so far. Even if his films don’t do well at the box office, he has always been successful in gathering all the praises for his works. His most recent film ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’ was able to do extremely well.

#6. Aaryan Sigdel

Aaryan Sigdel is on the sixth spot on the list this year. The actor who debuted with ‘Kismat’ in 2007 has won the National Award twice for his roles in ‘Mausam’ and ‘Mero Euta Saathi Chha’. His most recent film ‘Classic’ is currently running in cinemas.

#7. Prabal Gurung

Fashion designer Prabal Gurung has secured the seventh spot on the list. The 37-year-old designer based in USA is probably the most popular Nepalese worldwide. His designs are not only loved by Hollywood and Bollywood stars but the First Lady Michelle Obama is fond of him as well. He is also involved in various social causes through his charity Shikshya Foundation.

#8. Anoop Bikram Shahi

Eighth spot on the list this year is secured by the model-turned-actor Anoop Bikram Shahi. The winner of Manhunt International Nepal 2013, he has so far been seen in various music videos and films such as Dravya, Hasiya and Shourya. Two of his films ‘How Funny’ and ‘Bir Bikram’ are to be released this year.

#9. Ayushman Desraj Shrestha Joshi

Model, VJ and actor Ayushman DS Joshi is on the ninth spot. The popular model who has so far been featured in various music videos and magazine covers, is to debut in the film industry this year. The ‘Kantipur Gold’ VJ is equally popular on social media for his cover songs and sketches.

#10. Rajesh Hamal

While talking about the most attractive men, it’s quite impossible not to feature the superstar Rajesh Hamal. The actor is on the tenth spot this year. Though the evergreen actor has not been able to give a successful film in quite some time, he still remains one of the most celebrated personalities in the Nepalese film industry. The National Award winner also remains busy with various social causes.

The other personalities who almost made it to the list but slightly missed it are; politician Gagan Thapa, actor Karma, actor Hari Bansha Acharya, media personality Bhushan Dahal and actor Suraj Singh Thakuri.
