Fresh Tunes: The Uglyz Make A Comeback With ‘Ghar Jaane’

It’s been a couple of years since The Uglyz have released a new song and finally after a long wait, they are back with a new single. The song titled ‘Ghar Jaane’ talks about the feelings of a person living abroad, away from his family, who wishes to go home. It’s Dashain, that time of the year when a Nepali living abroad misses their home the most, and this song beautifully expresses all those feelings. Vocalist Sarun Tamrakar, who himself lives away from Nepal, has finely crafted all those feelings in words.

The song was recorded at Kripa Drishya Digital Studio in Kathmandu for their new show Kripa Studio Jam, earlier this year when the band had toured around the nation on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the release of their first album titled ‘Rush’. The video shot by Bizu Karmacharya, Samir Shrestha and Pavel Udas is edited by Binay Kansakar and Bizu Karmacharya.
