This Animated Film Tells Your Everyday Story, Sadly | Loadshedding

Loadshedding – believe me, if it was a person, Nepalese people would beat the sh** out of him. Yes, that’s how frustrated we are from this thing. Most of the time it’s gone and it just shows up once in a while to say, “Hey! Remember me?” and that’s too probably when we are asleep. Your cellphone, laptop and other gadgets are always crying and begging you to save their lives. We Nepalese literally know the true value of every single percent of battery on our phones. We make plans as per the loadshedding schedule. When friends ask us to go out with them, we are like, “No way, there will be electricity tonight at my place. I have to see how it looks like as it’s been like forever.”

Let’s edit it short for now as I can seriously go on and on about it. Here we have quite an old animated film but it is so accurate that I couldn’t help but share it again. The film titled ‘No Light’ is created by Kathmandu based animation company Qurien Animation Studios. The film has more than 2.7 million views on Youtube since it was uploaded in December 2011.

Watch the film below even if you have already watched it and do not forget to share your views about it in the comment section.
