Nominate SUNIL THAPA For Filmfare Awards | Vote Online


The online voting to nominate your favorite film, actor, actress, supporting actor, supporting actress, director, music composer and everyone else who is part of a film for the 60th Filmfare Awards has been started. Five of those who get the highest number of votes will be nominated and the winners will later be chosen by the panel of jury to honor the bests from the year 2014. Filmfare is the oldest and the most prestigious awards in Bollywood and is often considered as the Oscars of Hindi language cinema.

Nepali veteran actor Sunil Thapa too is a strong competitor this year in the category of ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male)’ for his role in one of the most successful movies of the year – Mary Kom. To vote for him, you will need to log in to www.awards.filmfare.com and then on the fifth category, that is ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male), you will have to type his details: Name – Sunil Thapa; Film: Mary Kom. You will need to enter your name and email address at the end in order to cast your vote.

‘083’ is the code of his film Mary Kom. The last date to vote is January 7th. He has a very good chance of winning the award once he is nominated as his work was highly appreciated in the film by the audience and the critics as well.

The film produced by Sanjay Leela Bhanshali and directed by Omung Kumar was released on September 5th and had grossed over INR 100 crores. Thapa had played the role of Priyanka Chopra’s boxing coach.

The full list of nominees is expected to be announced in mid-January followed by all the glamour and excitement of the 60th Filmfare Awards being presented on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai and the event will later be broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television.
