Friday Release: Jerry | Pre-Analysis | Press Meet |

Upcoming Nepali movie ‘Jerry’ is one of the most anticipated films of recent times and one of the reasons for it is the actor Anmol KC. He has a huge fan following and the majority consists of females. After he debuted with ‘Hostel’ in 2013, he instantly became the heartthrobe of thousands of ladies. He had been recieving a numerous numbers of offers but he had been rejecting them and chose to work in this one.

Apart from Anmol KC, there are other factors as well which make it a good-watch. The trailer looks fresh and promising and the music of the film has been very popular with the soundtracks like ‘Ke Yo Maya Ho’, ‘Vananna’ and ‘Adrishya Vhawana’. One of the most popular pop-stars Naren Limbu is the music director and has done justice with his work. Moreover, the film has got more than 70 screens across the nation which is a very good number.

The film is directed by Hemraj BC, who had earlier directed ‘Hostel’ and expectations are high with him. Along with Anmol KC; the film also stars Anna Sharma, Abhishek Maan Sherchan, Amaliya Sharma and Rachna Gurung. The film is produced by Manoj Sherchan under the banner of Falcon Pictures.

Now talking about the competition; the film will be getting a tough competition from three foreign films – Interstellar (Hollywood); Big Hero 6 (Hollywood) and Kill Dil (Bollywood). Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine; the science-fiction has already been a blockbuster worldwide. Disney’s animated film ‘Big Hero 6′ too has been doing good worldwide. On the other hand; Yash Raj Films’ Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Kill Dil’, directed by Shaad Ali has been creating quite a buzz even before the release.

Even though ‘Jerry’ seems to have a tough competition, but seeing the popularity of the star-cast and the music and even the trailer among the cine-goers; it might be able to do good business at the box-office. We still have a couple of more days to witness its fate. Here’s a short video of the recent press conference of the film.
