Anjali Lama is the first Nepali transgender model who has been very successful in making a good name in the Nepali fashion industry. She was born in Nuwakot as a boy and was named Nabin Waiba. It was only after coming to Kathmandu for higher studies, when she realized and found her true identity. It is a tough and long journey which she has travelled to become what she is today. Film maker Mohan Rai is all set to show the story of her life in a 50 minutes long film called ‘Anjali: Living Inside Someone Else’s Skin’ which will be premiered at Kumari Cinema, Kathmandu on September 18th.

Talking exclusively with NeoStuffs, Anjali expressed her happiness and satisfaction. She thanked all her well-wishers and supporters saying, “It’s only because of you all that I am what I am today.”
