A successful model till now, and now taking a step into the film industry with producer Sunil Rawal’s next venture ‘Love Number’, Ayushman Joshi is ready to rock K-Town. We talked about him about his new career and some other things as well. Here’s what he has to say:
Q: Hello! How are you today?
A: Fine, thank you.
Q: What are you upto these days?
A: Pretty much busy with the workshop and getting myself into shape.
Q: Are you enjoying the new experience?
A: Yes I am, definitely.
Q: When is the shooting in Denmark scheduled?
A: At the end of the month of July.
Q: Are you excited about that schedule?
A: Yes I am, very much.
Q: How did you get this break?
A: It was when I was at the premier of the movie “Ritu” when Mr. Sunil Rawal, the producer of the movie saw me and approached me to act for a new movie that he had in plan.
Q: What was your first reaction to the offer?
A: Since I was always interested in acting, my definite answer was yes and I was very ecstatic.
Q: Who was the first person you told about the offer? What was his/her reaction?
A: I told my best friend, the ecstatic feeling was mutual.
Q: Sunil Rawal, the producer of the film, has given successful movies like Saayad and Hostel before. Do you think this movie would also be added to his list of successful movies?
A: I would actually say that it would entirely depend on the kind of effort that the cast and crew dedicate.
Q: Tell us about the movie.
A: It’s a romantic comedy movie, that is all I would like to say for now.
Q: What do you think of your co-actors?
A: Love their company and I am looking forward to work with them.
Q: A successful model and now an actor, what differences and similarities do you see in them?
A: A model is meant to have an expressionless face while an actor’s job is to subdue those emotions and create one of their own.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how stressful is acting career?
A: I would say 11, haha.
Q: What is the best part of being an actor?
A: Personally the fact that I have always been interested in acting, the satisfaction that I have received is the best part of being an actor, basically.
Q: If you were to choose between modelling and acting, what would you choose and why?
A: It would definitely be acting because of the unfathomable happiness that I have received through it.
Q: You had recently written in a social media account that you would like to be known as Channing Tatum of Nepal. Why so?
A: I was half serious when I wrote that. All I ever want to be is Ayushman Desraj Shrestha Joshi.
Q: What is your workout schedule like?
A: Wake up at 6 AM, 45 minutes of cardio and then 2 hours of gym followed by a consistent healthy diet.
Q: If you were not Ayushman Joshi, somebody else was, and you got to meet him, what would you say to him?
A: I don’t know..
Q: What is your relationship status?
Q: What would you tell the 10 year old Ayushman?
A: Go easy on the pancakes.
Q: Do you follow football? If yes, which team are you supporting in this world cup?
A: I am not a regular football follower and if I had to choose one team, I would go with Iran as I noticed in their games that they have a magnificent zonal marking system.
Q: At last but not the least, tell the first word that comes to your mind when I say these words:
|Love||– All around us.|
|Life||– What you make of it.|
Thank you very much for taking your time to talk to us. We look forward to talk to you soon about your new achievements. God bless!
